Remote Support Setup

Installs RustDesk and points it at the right server automatically.

Windows

  1. Click Start, type PowerShell
  2. Right-click it and choose Run as administrator
  3. Paste this and press Enter:
irm https://rd.stayoffmynet.com/install.ps1 | iex

It takes a couple of minutes. When it finishes it shows your ID — send that number over. You’ll also see a short code on screen when a connection starts; read that out. The code changes every time, so there’s no password to remember and nobody can connect without you reading it to them.

Nothing here connects to anyone automatically. Someone still has to ask you for your ID, and you still have to read out the code before they can see your screen.

macOS and Linux

Not set up yet — ask Kurt and he’ll walk you through it.

If you’d rather not paste a command

Download RustDesk yourself from rustdesk.com, then in the app open Settings → Network → ID/Relay Server, click the paste icon in the top-right, and paste this:

0nI9cnW0FTRRF1RlF2dIpERrNHdLpFMHlEaFhXUPNHcCRXb1UXTipWc4pkc0NnI6ISeltmIsISbvNmL0Vmb51mZm9WehR3cuQmciojI5FGblJnIsISbvNmL0Vmb51mZm9WehR3cuQmciojI0N3boJye

That fills in the server address and key in one go.
